Pre-Fall, Be Kind
I am incredibly excited right now because I just discovered Chanel's pre-fall collection, titled "Chanel Paris-Bombay", thanks to an update from Nylon. Yes, it is a super chic blend of Indian and Parisian influences and yes, I am in love. Here are my top 5 favorite looks from this amazing collection:

The Other Olsen Girl
I recently saw the newest movie that everyone who knows independent films has been talking about: Martha Marcy May Marlene. More surprising and compelling than the incredible directing and plot was the performance by Elizabeth Olsen, who is the younger sister of fashion icons and personal favorites Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Aside from an amazing portrayal of Martha, Elizabeth Olsen somehow managed to always look incredible, even when hiding from her fellow cult-mates knee deep in dirt in the middle of a forest. Though I am in love with Martha Marcy May Marlene, Elizabeth's cover of the October issue of Nylon is what really cemented her place as #1 in my current fashion and celebrity obsessions.

Like A Rolling Stone
It's been an obscenely long time since I've posted anything, and yes, I'm ashamed that I've let my blog become a thing of neglect. In order to get back into my old routine and to apologize for my absence, I've decided to post about a serious Tumblr love and obvious trend involving beads, gemstones, embellishments, and all kinds of detail. I love it, Tumblr-addicts love it, and so does the fashion world, so it must be amazing.

Superlatives
This week's best dressed: Rachel Bilson in Chanel shorts, Louboutins, and a Chanel clutch. Sorry for the Chanel repeat, but she looked stunning and her ombre hair is awesome!

Scott's Honor
A designer that I'm currently in love with is Jeremy Scott. Though I wouldn't wear a lot of his clothes, his dresses are fun, cute, and always interesting. With fans like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, who wore a combination of his sunglasses and dress in her Paparazzi music video, Jeremy Scott has secured himself in the world of the fashionably eccentric. Since I haven't talked about a collection in a long time, I thought I would post some of my favorite looks from his Spring 2011 collection and his other looks that I can't help but adore. My personal Scott favorite: the black velvet, silver cross dress!

In The Flowers
Animal Collective was on to something with "and we're out in the flowers and feel better." I know I've already posted about spring, but it's actually here now and this isn't just springtime inspiration. Due to the incredible weather Chicago's had for the past week (minus the rainy parts) and the flowers I've been seeing, I really have been feeling good. So in honor of the flora of this city, here are some pretty pictures of pretty flowers and some really pretty girls.
