Angles

So the new Strokes album came out a few weeks ago to mixed reviews. Though its no Is This It, and their sound has really changed from the beloved lo-fi garage sound of the past, I really like their new album. The lyrics aren't quite as good as their past songs (Hard to Explain, Someday, What Ever Happened), but they managed to keep their incredible instrumental playing in check and overall the album is filled with catchy and interesting songs that still sound Strokes-y. If you liked First Impressions of Earth, you'll love Angles.

Key Tracks:  Under Cover of Darkness, Life is Simple in the Moonlight.
