Raven In The Grave
The Raveonettes. They're a totally unique band that never ceases to amaze me. They released a new album almost a week ago that's classic Raveonettes. So much of it reminds me of In And Out Of Control, with the distorted guitars and heavy reverb, but Raven In The Grave has its own, more polished sound that can't be heard on their past albums. The whole idea of the Raveonettes is sweet, 80's inspired melodies with dark and haunting lyrics sans the expected irony. Raven In The Grave is a great follow-up to Lust Lust Lust and all Raveonettes fans should buy it immediately.
Key tracks: As You Lay Asleep, Recharge And Revolt, Forget That You're Young
